Scientix-Microbial DNA Pools(SMD-P4)

Scienetix Microbial DNA Pool-4 (SMD-P4) is a mixture of extracted DNA of 6 organisms known to cause human microbial infections. SMD Pool-4 was prepared with DNA extracted from pure microorganisms isolated from human specimens. SMD Pool-4 is suitable for evaluating DNA extraction methods and molecular diagnostic assays. Therefore, SMD Pool-4 is suitable for investigating and eliminating nucleic acid extraction bias influencing diagnostic outcomes. Additionally, SMD Pool-4 is ideal for developing and validating molecular diagnostics tools for microbial infections.

Organism Identity is confirmed by 16S/18S sequencing.
NGS verified composition.
qPCR and NGS validated Microbial DNA composition.

Warnings and Precautions

SMD Pool contains extracted DNA of microorganisms and is not biohazardous. However, standard precautions should be followed when handling SMD Pool-1 to prevent cross-contamination.
For handling and disposal, consult the CDC recommendations and local regulations.
The matrix used in this product is tested by qPCR and NGS and found to contain no microorganisms
Do not use past labeled expiration date.
To avoid cross-contamination, use sterile tips.
